Established in 2004, the Baku International Film Festival is Azerbaijan’s longest-running film event, dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers. The festival awards the prestigious Golden Pomegranate across key cinematic categories.

DEMP contributed to Pakistan’s presence by previously submitting Gunjal and Dhai Chal in 2024, sharing powerful Pakistani narratives with international audiences. For 2025, additional submissions are planned to continue this momentum.
