Established under Pakistan’s Film and Broadcasting Policy through S.R.O. No. 1011(I)/2023, dated 5^th September, 2025, the National Center for Films (NCF) has been formed through the restructuring of the Film Wing of DEMP. NCF serves as the Government of Pakistan’s one-window institution for policy formulation, implementation, facilitation, and coordination of all matters related to the national film industry. Its mandate includes international outreach, film financing and incentives, co-productions, content development, artist welfare, digital archiving, and capacity-building initiatives to support and promote Pakistan’s film sector.
